Ryan Callahan

Dr Callahan grew up right here in Fairfield county. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2019 with a degree in Biology (go Irish!). He then attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2023 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. 

After graduating Dr Callahan moved back to Stamford and worked as an Emergency Veterinarian in Norwalk. After almost two years of emergency medicine experience he has transitioned to a role with us as a General Practitioner at High Ridge Animal Hospital. Dr Callahan’s veterinary passions include proactive/preventative medicine, surgery, and internal medicine. 

At home Dr Callahan lives with his significant other and their two dogs, Ripley and Safa. He is also a big fan of reptiles/exotics and keeps a crested gecko and dart frogs. Outside of work Dr Callahan is a big fan of sports (especially soccer), travel, and cooking.
